personal challenge

Hijabi Apprentice is starting a personal challenge to read 1 page of Qur'an a day (in Arabi) and try to finish 1 juz a week (in English). Anyone want to join me?

salaams! i posted this on facebook but I said a juz a day. i had to give myself a more attainable goal because it's hard to get a big chunk of reading done with a 6 month old lol.

so any takers? i'm not talking about any grand halaqas or anything complicated just you and your mushaf. i got 2 pages of Qur'an in last night :). I'm going to try any get some reading done now while Zach is sleep-nursing!

As-Salaamu-Alaikum Hijabi Apprentice,
You have such admirable goals. I really wanna get down with this. I feel so much better when I read the quran.
So, are you reading it in any particular order?
Ma'aSlaama,
Najea
BTW, My comments aren't going thru on "Drop..."

Wa Alaikum Salaam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,

Dear Sister-Homie Najea!

Aww thanks! I'm trying to jumpstart myself out of the PPD funk lol! I am starting with Baqarah insha Allah all the way to Nas. My reading is really slow so I'm hoping to make some improvements in that area at least by the time I reach juz 10 :) insha Allah.

I am sad you can't post comments on DAGM20 :(. I tuned off the word verification so I'm not sure what's going on.
